Plating/painting firm fined $52,000 for hazardous waste violations
Thursday, August 28, 2008-- According to the MPCA, the specific violations included failure to adequately separate incompatible wastes, failure to regularly inspect hazardous waste containers and the company's new wastewater-treatment unit, and for unintentionally discharging liquid too high in copper and nickel. -- (full text)
