Rinsewater Recycling

Q. What type of system would you suggest to remove Fixodine ZN from used rinsewater, so that the water may be recycled? I also have the same question for Parcolene 90A. Thank you!

A. Unfortunately there are thousands of brand name chemistries on the market and no one is familiar with the formula of all of them. In order to answer your question I will need a copy of the MSDS and Technical data sheet (or bath content analysis) describing the aproximate bath concentration (range) of the ingredients in these baths or the concentration in the rinse water, which varies with drag out rate (a function of part shape and rinse menthod). You can fax them to me at 877-788-4104 or email them to me if you have them in electroni form. It would also help if I knew whether you were using hard water, soft water, or DI - RO water for the rinse.
